Property Damage Assessments

The Practice has provided a comprehensive service to the Insurance Industry and property owners since 1973. These services cover all normal property damage and extend to matters such as the environmental impact of oil spillages and acting as an expert witness in disputes.

Our services are provided from the initial damage assessment through the preparation of a remedial scheme, on to the project management of the contract, until the completion of the works.

Monitoring

Our property damage services include monitoring buildings for cyclical or progressive movement. This monitoring regime is designed to diagnose the underlying cause of the damage and normally includes formal monitoring of crack damage and where appropriate precise level monitoring of buildings following Building Research Establishment (BRE) standard methodology.

Remedial schemes

Once the scope of the property damage repair has been established, we offer a complete project management service in the preparation of specifications covering the remedial and cosmetic repair works to bring the building back to its original condition, inviting competitive tenders and managing the contract whilst the works are on site.
